The Summit has a mandatory homeowners association called The Summit Mutual Amenities Association, Inc. By purchasing a house in The Summit, you agree to abide by all the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions.

Before performing home improvements such as exterior painting, roofing, major landscaping, building fences, sheds, etc. you should get approval from the Architectural Control Committee (ACC).  Basketball goals (even portable ones) need to be approved as well.  All requests should be directed to the property manager who will forward them to the ACC for review.

The Association through its Board of Directors shall have the power to create and fill vacancies on the Architectural Control Committee.  The ACC is the only permanent committee designated in the Summit By-Laws.  As property owners in the Summit, we have agreed to abide by the rules and regulations, which were set forth in 1985.

The purpose of the ACC is to help the homeowners properly interpret these rules.  By submitting plans for improvements before they are started, the ACC can clear up any misunderstandings before it’s too late.  This is intended to protect the value of our property.

Current committee members are:

ACC Members
Burt Thompson
Tom Trbovich
Michael Pembrook
